Does the word KIBA make you think of a refreshing cherry and banana drink? Not any more. The KIBA project, which explores artificial intelligence and discrete load optimisation models for increasing capacity utilisation in Combined Transport, is where we come together with our project partners to develop digitalisation in intermodal transport. Or to be more precise, how can we find the perfect combination of intermodal loading unit and wagon, and how can the use of artificial intelligence help us do so? 

We are working together to strengthen the digitalisation of processes so that the ever more demanding loading processes can be accelerated in order to achieve the economic utilisation of network capacity.
